Hi all! I'm Connor from San Jose, CA and have recently purchased my first e46. She is a 2004 ZHP (in Schwarz) Sedan with 115,xxx from El Paso, Texas. Alcantara/Cloth on the inside in suburb condition- cannot be happier! Prior to the ZHP, i've owned 3 e30's of various years and builds. Happy to have a car now that suits my 30 mile commute nicely but sad to have to leave the e30 life behind. (my most recent one went to a friend at least, so i can still see her and drive her here and there.) So far, i have done minor cosmetic fixes and love the way she is turning around already.

Since the stuff is small, i am not going to include pictures, but heres a list!

New Magneti Marelli headlight lenses (old were yellowed and scratched)
Front license plate delete strip
GROM Audio bluetooth kit
New OEM zhp shift knob (old was plastic faux-M//, probably from china)
New roundels from Turner

Coming soon:
OEM roof rack/bike rails
Red/White LED tails
hopefully my plates (still in the mail from the DMV)

A couple questions!
1. Looking for amber-esque angel eyes. Any suggestions?
2. Tail lights: What brand/build are you using, and where can i find white over red reverse/trunk lights

Welcome! The car looks to be in excellent shape. I've owned six E30's (two of them M3's) so I completely understand the attraction that they have, but the E46 is a much better overall car. I notice you didn't mention any maintenance plans...is everything up to date?

Welcome, Connor! Your car looks great! I got a good laugh out of what I assume is you and your pose on top of the sign.

As for your questions, I would suggest Umnitza for a good angel eye option. Not sure about LED red/white tail lights since the LED tails from a coupe aren't direct swap. There are Eagle Eye tail lights but I don't know how good the quality is.

I think halogen Red/Clear/Red (R/C/R) is better suited to sedans, but that's just me.

I know ill own another sometime soon, maybe this next one will be an auto-x build since the rest of mine were DD's. The car is going to my indy shop next week to get an overall inspection. Oil was done right before i purchased and all the fluids look clean- not murky or gross. I do notice that when i turn the car off without depressing the clutch, it sounds almost like the flywheel clunks a few times- definitely want to get that checked out.
