Hi everyone, love the sight full of great information! A little background, my dad was a mechanic and raced IMSA until I was 15. My parents drug me all over the east coast racing so speed and fun cars are in my blood. My husband shares my love and works on all of our cars. I just sold the Honda Odyssey I have had for the past 8 years, I know not much fun but she served her purpose and was faithful. My youngest daughter is almost 16 so it's time for a fun car again! The odyssey is the only automatic I have owned and I am so ready to go back to a manual; however I live in the Atlanta metro area and manuals are hard to find in the type of car I want and my budget, less than $10k. I had a V70 T5 before the odyssey which I found on eBay and had to go to NY to buy. I found a ZHP here but didn't know what one was until I read the blog about them, needless to say I had to check it out. Loved the car but it has a rebuilt title. It's an 05 with 116k was totaled in 2014 in west VA. I hope to get with the seller tomorrow and get it to a shop for a PPI if he hasn't sold it. Would love some advice.

Welcome! You should be able to find a real nice one within your budget... I would personally stay away from cars with salvage/rebuilt title especially since you should be able to get a relatively clean one for your budget...
Needless to say ask for pictures of the accident and then decide... Good luck and let us know how it goes...

Hi. Posted on the other thread too. That car is priced way to high for a salvage title. Be patient, there are more than enough of these cars popping up for sale. Be prepared for cooling system refresh and most of the suspension parts.

Might be a better option if you can take black in the GA heat.

Welcome! I would also recommended steering clear from the rebuilt titles unless it's a price you can't refuse.

Found this the other day. It's a bit of distance, but the price is right
2004 Jet Black 155k, listed as auto, and again mislisted as 5 speed in the description but per the VIN it's a 6 speed.
