Well Maintained and Nicely Modded. Does this one belong to a member?
Happy to visit and look at it for a member- I'd need a little heads up on this one- Dallas is a bit more than a day trip from OKC.
Cheers!
Geoff

Not the factory perforated wheel though, I wonder where the owner got it done.

That's the same one as on mine, and mine is factory:

Bingo. I don't live too far away from McKinney, surprised I haven't seen this guy on the road before. :)

Check the angle of the stitching between the whole leather and the perforated leather. Late model ZHPs, like yours, have a horizontal transition between the two leather types (parallel with the ground). The wheel in the ad has that transition between leathers perpendicular to the outer part of the wheel.

Interesting, now that you point it out there is that difference. Wonder if it was a change in manufacturing or done later as a repair? My guess is aftermarket, based upon condition of the craigslist car that leather does not look like 159K miles....

It looks similar to Tainik's work. I'm guessing most shops would repair it that way rather than horizontal. The shifter boot also seems to be aftermarket?

I'm about 95% sure that BMW didn't change the shape of the stitching transition during the short run of ZHPs that had leather steering wheels and shift/brake boots. My father's 2006 330Ci has a leather steering wheel that is horizontal as well. I agree, probably aftermarket, but looks nice nonetheless.

Cocomats.com

I've had them in all my BMWs. Love them, bit pricey, but extremely durable and look great.
