Yes sir...

After a 2008 535i sport, a 2008 535xi, and a 2015 335xi MSport 6 speed, I'm in the process of getting back into a Zhp daily driver! That was the longest I have ever gone without one.

+1. Would love to find a BMWP exhaust and/or strut bar for a fair price, but I don't have any delusions about that.

They exist. Someone will sell them before parting with their car sooner or later. Hopefully they ping me before listing them in classifieds!

I saw one on display at my dealer and asked if they wanted to sell it. They enthusiastically said yes like I was helping them get rid of an eye sore. I gave them my number and waiting for a call from them. I'll ask again when i pick up parts this week.

Well it didn't take long to source a brand new exhaust (and not from Holden's dealership).

Still looking for intake and strut bar.

Out of curiosity what is the going price for the BMW Performance exhaust? I may have one put away in storage that I have all intentions of putting on my car but I can't ever seem to get around to it. You know what they say "If the price is right".

I have the bmw performance muffler on my wife's zhp. It is a nice looking rear section but not much more noise then factory.

Looks proper though.

I wouldn't know, you rarely see them pop up. There isn't much of a performance gain, it's mainly the sound that people are after, and as Vas says, there isn't much sound change. Maybe $100-150? Let's talk, I'm definitely interested if you're thinking of selling.

Did you post a comparison video for sound a while ago when you had it installed?

I've seen used Zhp stock mufflers sell for $100 - $200. The performance exhaust is worth a lot more than the stock exhaust simply due to demand, despite only marginal differences from stock.

Back when the flash sale was on the exhaust, I paid $200 for the bmw performance muffler. Sold the factory one on e46 fanatics for $200.

Now they are more rare.

Sound wise the bmw performance is more of a deeper sound. Not louder then the factory exhaust but just a different tone. Mostly heard at idle or low revs.

Honestly the bmw performance muffler is what should have been on the zhp from the factory.

When I said "in storage" I wasn't kidding. It is buried along with everything else I own in a storage unit while my wife and I are staying with family. we will be moving onto our new place in July. Once I am settled in and the exhaust and everything else is out of storage I will decide if I am going to install it on my car. If I decide not to, it will be up here first.

I think this video shows it, and coincidentally the guy doesn't rev it high. The performance exhaust has a deeper, lower sounding tone.

I wonder how the Vibrant muffler sounds compared to these.

I hate to say this guys but I fore see OEM BMW Performance Exhaust to be up to $500 at least. This is due to the fact that it is a rare and discontinued item.

GL with your search though.

Probably right, much like BMWP's intake and the CF strut bar. Silly expensive to me, but maybe it makes sense for others.

Sorry to sort of go off track on your WTB thread, illirep.

No worries. For context, if one were to replace their muffler with a new OEM unit, or buy an aftermarket performance muffler (i.e. Dinan), you are easily north of $500. So not sure why one would expect to find this one for under $200...

It's similar. Another person on the forum made some videos.

I have the Vibrant muffler on my car and I love it. Great sound until I can get my hands on a TSE3.

Everyone who has either seen my car or has gone thru my ZHP project thread knows this. I did not mention using it on my ZHP only because I no longer have it on there.

Yes, road conditions where I am at suck...
