I have the carbon fiber ones and they look really good in my opinion. I love not having the chrome grills that had signs of wear and tear after being on the car for 10 years.

This is a really good price for these. Blackout Grilles (https://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E46-330i-M54_3.0L/News/BMW_E46_323_325_328_330_ECS_Blackout_Grilles_Gloss _Matte_Carbon_Fiber_17243/)

I just had to dremel out a small spot on mine to let the hood latch fit properly.

From further away it is much more subtle:

Looks good! In terms of fitment, mine did not require any modifications.

I saw this email and meant to post it (in the save money thread). Glad someone posted it.

Yes the gloss black. Is mine a outlier or something?

I have the ECS Grilles and they fit perfect and high quality. I would snag a pair of these at this price! [emoji106]

I should clarify. They fit the space where the grilles go fabulously. It's just on the back end that I had to dremel to make a little more space for the latch. I'll try and get a photo. I was very impressed with the fitment though overall.

Agreed. The BMW Performance ones are spendy, but they're perfect.

I'd bet the ECS ones are fine as well, they updated them in the last few years.

I got Jeff (JConlin16) hooked on the OEM ones. It's worth the money you spend for sure

Definitely. I plan on replacing the ill-fitting matte black ones that came with my car with the OEM gloss set.

Price on the OEM gloss black ones ($54.xx) doesn't seem that good. $50.40 at Morristown!

It took about a week for them to arrive, which is fine. I installed them tonight with ease. Luckily I had a non-scratching hard-plastic tool that helped pry the clips away to remove the OEM kidneys. I can't wait to see what it looks like with the angel eyes after a car wash. Thanks again for starting this thread.
