Greetings all. Long time viewer of this site as the information shared here is awesome. I have had BMW models in the past, plus a 330ci, as I just love this body style. This time I decided that if I get another BMW it would be a ZHP. Finally tracked down one with relatively low mileage (2005 with 65k) a few months back. Would have loved to have the coupe instead of the vert but it seems they are getting hard to find with low mileage. Anyway, now I have it and the fun begins. It is in pretty good shape and runs fairly strong. It is an auto as the wife will be driving it now and then and the damage she could do to a clutch and transmission is beyond description. It will be used as an extra car and not a daily driver, and the plan is to do a few mods but keep it comfortable for the street, as the roads here and most places I go are pretty harsh.

Anyway, that's me and I look forward to being a member!

Congratulations and welcome aboard from another North Carolinian with a Silbergrau ZHP convertible with black interior (2004). Judging the flat land in the background, it appears you are located somewhere east or south of Raleigh.

Welcome! Glad you found a ZHP to your liking and look forward to seeing what maintenance and mods you do to the car! Post more pics when you can.

Great color. Welcome.

"ZHP is a garbage option anyway- just some cosmetic upgrades with a different cam and diff to claw back some of the performance lost fitting those hideous and heavy wheels. Any 330 with a 3.46 diff will smoke a ZHP every time. The whole Mafia thing reeks of childish behavior." - anonymous

Teach the wife to drive a manual!!! Taught the GF and now she has a Fiesta ST with a 6sp ;)

Really like the darker grey paint with the black top. Going to be a great weekend warrior. Welcome!

@wstr75. Sharp eye. I am south of Raleigh just off I-40 in Johnson County. BTW, have you updated your DME?

@BMWCurves-I already marked your thread on your mods and use it as a reference.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

@GotZHP-That is the subject of many conversations around here. She is not interested and not an "aggressive" type of driver by any means. On the plus side, I guess I don't have to wonder if the car is going to come home one day with the tires worn out!

Hello from KY. Went to school in Winston-Salem.

Winston-Salem is a nice area. Where in Kentucky are you now?

How do you like the Koni STR.T's? I just ordered a set yesterday.

Very good, those are in the back. Couldn't get them to fit in the front, had to go to KYBs, which are equally fine. Stock stuff.
