For sale is the instrument cluster that came in my '04 ZHP with manual transmission. I purchased a replacement instrument cluster from Terraphantm, because I mistakenly diagnosed the reason my fuel gauge wasn't working as being an internal instrument cluster fault. After I had installed the replacement cluster, I realized my mistake and the actual problem was the left side sending unit in the tank.

So I now have a perfectly working instrument cluster available for sale. This is for cars with manual transmission. It was in the car for 151k miles, but I had the cluster 'virginized' so that the mileage and the VIN has been erased from the cluster. This cluster is ready to install and program just as if you bought a brand new one from the dealer. The VIN will have to be coded with the proper software, but the mileage will pull straight from your LCM. Both of the button stalks have been replaced and work perfectly.

I failed to provide that information in my post...it is for a manual transmission. Sorry for the confusion.

Auto clusters will have a small mini display to the right of the center one. It looks like a rectangle within a rectangle. Looks like this:

Sorry to hijack tour thread, but what were the symptoms of the fuel gauge? Mine is slow to respond after fill up (hours...).

My fuel gauge read empty at all times. The OBC test showed code came back as implausible signal, and as a test I swapped in a cluster from a 325i. That cluster immediately registered a fuel reading. So I naturally thought the cluster was the culprit.

After further diagnosis, it was the driver's side fuel sending find unit. The circuit board for the wiper arm was broken in half. I swapped in a used unit last night and its fixed.
