Good day to all.

My newest addition is a Jet Black 2005 330i ZHP 6spd. I purchased it in November 2015 with 119,xxx miles and have been correcting its few foibles and sins of the previous 2 owners. Currently she has 131,xxx miles. I truly love driving this car.

Thank you. The M5 is completely stock with 356WHP/348Tq at 182,000 miles. And yes, the wheels on my 3 are 17" knock-offs. (sins of the previous owner). As far as getting the M5 out from the left side of the garage; it's not too bad, two or three maneuvers and I'm on my way.

Thus far, I've been working on rejuvenating her. I have fixed the "A" and "C" pillar trim, replaced the headlight lenses, add the Euro rear fog light switch (but haven't coded it yet), added Intravee with Ipod and Sirius, replaced the oil filter housing's profile gasket, Aux input and replaced the blown wing mirror lenses.

Hi. Welcome aboard.

"ZHP is a garbage option anyway- just some cosmetic upgrades with a different cam and diff to claw back some of the performance lost fitting those hideous and heavy wheels. Any 330 with a 3.46 diff will smoke a ZHP every time. The whole Mafia thing reeks of childish behavior." - anonymous

Very nice , how do you compare the m5 with zhp . I have a zhp and considering getting a m5 too .

The M5 and the ZHP are similar in how they feel and the smiles per mile quotient. The 3 is a bit more fun especially tight, twisty roads. This is a result of it's lower CG and mass. The M5 is much more powerful (almost 200WHP) and a much better high speed cruiser; I have taken mine cross country twice in the almost 5 years of ownership. Both are great cars, but given the choice I would drive the M5 much more often, but 100 mile commute for work and Michigan's famous roads, the 3's cheaper to keep in shape (helped by greater aftermarket support). A plus is that many of the systems between the e39 and e46 are shared so the learning curve shouldn't be bad. In the end you won't be disappointed having both.

If you are looking for an M5 please research the M5Board (http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/). You will not find a better resource for all things M5 (e28, e34, e39, e60 and f10). -same username

A word of warning; an M5 was a $100,000 (or damn near) car. The entry fee has come down significantly but the maintenance costs have not and they do require more maintenance than the ZHP.

I hope this helps.
