I was the second owner. The first owner had it until August of 2015. I purchased this beast from Enthusiast Auto Group of out Cincinnati, OH. I have taken great care of it and only put about 10k miles on it. I recently moved to the rockies and the car is just less practical for me (as a second car). Someone else will be able to use this machine to its fullest potential.

I remember this car when EAG had it. Nice clean example.

Factory wheels still included in the sale?

Hey there -
The original owner, who was in Kansas, decided to keep the original wheels. EAG didn't have them but advertised that they could sell a new pair with the sale.
Just the aftermarket wheels included in this sale.

Thanks!!!

Let me know if you have an offer? I priced it knowing I would come down a bit.

Still a few weeks away from being able to look into a new zhp, but can you educate me on the dinan upgrade and what it does for performance on this car? I believe there are different stages but don't know anything else about it. Also does it require more maintenance?

Hey there -
Dinan upgrades the only 3rd party company that BMW installs into their machines at stock.
The upgrades in this vehicle provide stiffer driving, higher horsepower, overall sportier feel for the drive.
Stage 2 engine software - Engine management software for use with the High Flow Intake. Optimizes performance and drivability for the High Flow Intake, taking full advantage of the additional air-flow.

There is absolutely zero maintenance that is due on the car. This beast is ready to roll.
I have all paperwork for all maintenance ever performed on the vehicle.

Let me know what other details you'd like or let me know if you have more questions that I can answer.

Thanks
Chris

Answering the other part of his question - dinan mods require no additional / special maintenance.

Illirep - thanks, that was what I wanted to find out.

Chris - what is the current horsepower on your car with the dinan upgrade?

The car is obviously mint and do wish you luck on the sale. In a few weeks when i am more ready if it's still available we can potentially revisit. In the name of transparency i will say the lack of stock wheels are a "turn off" but most importantly is the difference in price in the enthusiast market and what insurance companies are willing to pay for it. I recently totaled my zhp with 82k on it and got taught that lesson so left me very hesitant in taking big risks like that again, especially when I'd have to borrow from a bank for a large portion of a new zhp due to a current lack of liquidity.

That's only my situation so others may not have that issue and hopefully one of those people get this car because it looks amazing.

Hey there,

Thanks for the response.
The current horsepower with the Dinan upgrades is 258 and 241 torque lb/ft.

I understand that the lack of stock wheels isn't optimal. I was hopeful that the Enthusiast Auto Group had them when I purchased the vehicle but the original owner wanted to keep them. With that said, after experiencing these Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, I was 100% fine sleeping at night without the originals. Also, these tires only have about 12k miles on them.
I also understand the insurance issue, I just had my insurance agent up the coverage. It took a bit of convincing but after showing the comparable mid 2000's "enthusiast" vehicles and prices, they agreed.

I have had some interest, no one has actually come to look at the vehicle yet. I only have it on here and craigslist. Knowing it is a specialized market, I figured craigslist wouldn't be a primo medium. I figured I would give it another week or two before posting on other specialist sites.

Please note that I am willing to come down a bit. Motivated to sell due to my new living situation (new house, new town, new expenses).

Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris-

I previously owned a ZHP 330Ci 6MT and, prior to that, an older 330i sport 5MT, so this might be the right meld of fun and function.

Are those HP/Torque figures at the crank or wheels? I've seen some mixed info on expectations with the M54 and Dinan stage 2 upgrades and just want to get a sense of it over stock.

Do you have a steering wheel cover over the Alcantara wheel? If so, in what condition is the original Alcantara?

Is the window tint factory or aftermarket? If aftermarket, what is the tint level and is it ceramic?

Thanks.

It is a widely known fact that getting any significant power increases out of our M54B30 motors without forced induction and other supporting mods is indeed very difficult. I doubt the Dinan mods actually bring the power to that level; what the manufacturers claim and what is reality tend to be different things, so take those numbers from Dinan with a grain of salt. Realistically, those mods probably wouldn't net you more than a 10hp increase, and that's being optimistic.

What they lack in added power, however, they make up for in the overall experience and feel of the car, and that in itself may be worth it. If I was in the market for a ZHP, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Dinan-modified one, because I'd know that the mods on there have been extensively tested by Dinan.

Hey Andy -

Good morning and thanks for the comment. The horsepower is figured at the wheels, not the crank.
I did put a steering wheel cover over the original Alcantara wheel. The original had a bit of ware from the previous owner and also, I just prefer the cover.
Attached is a picture of the wheel without the cover.

I believe the window tint is stock, but I will need to find out for sure and get back to you. There is not one flaw throughout all of the tint - it is beautiful.

Let me know if I can answer any other questions/ if you would like to test drive this machine!!

Good morning

Literally every receipt from every time this vehicle has been touched is in a file. I also have digital files of all of them.
The Dinan components were installed when the vehicle was built by BMW.

If you have a dropbox, I can send you all of the files.

Thank you!
