I'm putting up for sale my ZHP that I recently acquired. I got it from original owner with 117k miles on the clock. It's not perfect but overall solid example.
While under the warranty car was serviced at Bob Smith BMW up until 2008. After that previous owner took it to BMW Clinic in Reseda, LA.
I got some service records but not everything since PO didn't keep everything. If you call BMW Clinic in Reseda they can give you more details about the work they performed.
I have original receipt for the car $48.500, 2 keys, books and a cover for the car.
Some recent work that was done by me and BMW Clinic:
- New Valve Cover Gasket
- Vanos rebuilt with Teflon seal rings and Viton-O rings
- Vanos oil line replaced
- Belts and alternator pulley replaced
- Oil pan gasket replaced
- Oil filter housing gasket replaced
- CCV (Crankcase Ventilation Valve) system replaced
- DISA Valve replaced
- New NGK Spark Plugs
- New cabin filter and engine air filter
- New battery
- Fuel filter
- Oil level sensor replaced
- Front sway bar links replaced
- Control arm bushings replaced
- Radiator and expansion tank replaced
- Wheel alignment
- 4 Brand new tires (not the best brand but new nonetheless)
- Airbag recall done at the dealship
- Fresh oil and filter change
Exterior has it's flaws. Front bumper is pretty scratched up and should be repainted. 2 small dents behind passenger door that can be pulled out. Right side wheels have fair bit of curb rash and rubber is deteriorating around back windows. Rest is pretty good and normal for 11 years old car.
I had plans on repairing all of that and have quotes for everything, but since I will be selling it, it's going to stay as is at least for now.
Interior is in good shape. Leather is still nice and soft with some sings of use. Alcantara steering wheel could use a rewrap and armrest shows sings of use.
I've been daily driving it and it runs great. Transmission is smooth and shifts perfect. Suspensions feels good, no weird noises and all of the ball joints are still intact and bushings were replaced. After doing the Vanos and other stuff, car is just like a bullet and so much fun to drive.
Registration is current and expires in December this year. I have new license plates and sticker coming.
I should also have it smog checked in the next few days.
I am unsure what to ask since I already put a lot of money and time into it. I was thinking about $8200 but I'm flexible.
