Wheels are in great shape, no bends or crack, still in original boxes, used for about 6 months

One wheel has a little bit of a curb rash, others are very clean.

Will put up more pictures in a day or two

Prefer local pickup $800

I can ship at the buyers expense in the original boxes

My only problem with the 17" arc 8 is the flat face look... but if I do buy a set of arc8's they'll be 17" cause pros outweigh the con (flat face) I think...

Interesting. Not sure if the 35 offset would fit w/my BBK, I don't really understand figuring out offsets even though I've seen posts explaining it. :)

Do they fit under the 135s no problem? If so, the APEX EC-7 should fit them with no problem.

Here is an example of a square 18x9 setup with 42 offset with 255/35 tire all around, granted these are a different color.

And the spokes on these EC 7 wheels were designed specifically to clear Big brake kits.

I had these on a lowered sedan with no rubbing and very flush fitment.

Not on et35 wheels... et35 is already very aggressive.

The BMW performance calipers I believe require a 3 or 5 mm spacer to clear the spokes of the 135. In this case it's not an offset issue, but more of a spoke design issue.

How do 35 offsets look on a ZHP sedan?

Different wheels but same exact specs (18x8.5 et35). It's tight. These two pics are with 245-wide Bridgestone Potenza S-04 tires, which required a fender roll in the rear as well as shaving some of the rear plastic lining to avoid rubbing:

These pics are with 255-wide Michelin PSS tires, which are wider to begin with in the same size. These required me to install coilovers to raise the car to fit them!

Little hard to see the rears here but it's pretty close to the fender edge:

Depends on the tire size and ride height.

I ran spacers on my VMRs when I had my zhp with no issues and fenders weren't rolled.

Yeah.. if your car is lowered, et35 is aggressive.
I'm mainly responding with John in mind as he was asking me about it last night via text. His car is pretty aggressively lowered, so my comments mainly pertain to him.

I ran spacers on my VMRs when I had my zhp with no issues and fenders weren't rolled.

Either your VMRs had a higher offset, your spacers not that thick, your ride height wasn't that low, or your tires not that wide. At least one of those conditions had to be true, because I fought to get my wheels not to rub at all with my setup. I had to go as far as raising the car, rolling the fender, and shaving plastic off the rear fender lining/bumper/whatever it was, to run these wheels with 255-wide rubber. Some people would run 225's or something narrow to make it fit, but I'm not a fan of that idea. Another personal preference thing.

Of course, any rubbing whatsoever is unacceptable to me. If your tolerance for rubbing is higher, then that will affect how much you have to do to get things to "fit" within an acceptable rub level.

So with stock suspension, with a 35 offset you think I should be good? Because I want apex wheels and this guy is in Seattle with me.

I've had 18x9 ET35 on the back of my car years back with Eibach/Koni FSD suspension and even with fender rolling, it would still rub when I hit a big dip in the road or had passengers.

With a 18x8.5 ET45 and a 12mm spacer, I have never rubbed, and that is with a 245/35 michelin PSS tire

And in the front, I ran a Apex arc8 18x8.5 ET45 with a 15mm spacer and the 245/35 tire on the same Eibach spacer for a couple years with no rubbing at all without any modifications

Et35s

235/265 widths

Lowered in KWv3s

5mm spacers was all it took

Made it work (Eli may have rolled the fenders prior to my ownership though).

Apex told me that sizes near my 245/35 18 x 8.5 work with lowered and the BBK, without issue. They also recommended a couple of other sizes near that. After that, you can roll fenders or add camber, but neither is needed for some standard or some modified setups.

How would 235/40s work on these?

UdubBadger
02-11-2017, 07:58 PM
Fuller wheel arches but won't effect the fitment of width/offset adversely since it's not as wide
