While I was at my local auto trim and upholstery shop (Annapolis, MD) I saw a BMW 330Ci convertible with a set of wheels on it that I really liked. They were alloy five-spoke wheels, I think 17 or 18 inches, with five broad flat spokes to each wheel, each spoke having a bit of an arch to it. I came back with a camera, but the car was completed and it hasn't come back. The shop owner said he would try to contact the owner and find out what the wheels are, but no luck so far. I believe this car was a ZHP- it had the six-speed manual, and the higher redline on the tachometer, although it did not have the little horns on the front air dam that I thought ZHPs have.

I like my 330Ci, although I wish I'd found a ZHP convertible in the same colors and trim- but it's a nice car and I enjoy driving it, I think the wheels I saw may be E36 wheels- I found something that looks like them on line. Will an E36 wheel fit on an E46 car? Or does anyone know of a standard BMW wheel that looks like how I described the wheel I saw? Sorry I do not have a photo of it. Any help very much appreciated.

Maybe a look through the following will help?

each spoke having a bit of an arch to it.
Were the arches concave or convex?

They were convex. Actually, I think it is the Style 23 wheel, which is for an E36 or Z3, but it appears will fit on my car. Thanks for the help!

I've seen Contours as snow tires but even at 17" they look tiny on the E46.
