Selling this E90 auto-dimming mirror with Homelink and "hidden" compass. Has the low-profile clown nose, and glass is blemish free. All features function flawlessly. This was completely plug-and-play on my coupe, but might require slight (albeit easy) modification to your harness depending on your car.
*Please note this will not work with verts*

GLWS. I think modification is necessary if your car didn't come with the Premium Package.

I would have gone with this one if I could find one this cheap. I used the other E9x mirror that has the visible compass and more prominent clown nose.

What's the difference? Would this one not work on my sedan? I've been looking for one of these... I'm sure there is a DIY out there to make it work?

I had to modify mine a bit. I went to check the guide I used (I linked to it in my project thread) but it seems the guy who posted it is no longer paying his hosting fees for his website. At any rate, it'll work on your sedan just fine, you just have to do some wire splicing/taps to power the autodim/compass/HomeLink.

My e90 came with Homelink. It didn't work to open the garage door at my old house. Now we have the X3, and its Homelink doesn't work to open my "new" garage door either. In summary, I had no luck using Homelink on 2 different cars.

I think there are separate procedures for garage doors with rolling codes vs non-rolling (standard) codes. You might try them out: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=384653

That one is much more comprehensive than the guide I used. Good find.

When I bought my ZHP 5 years ago (is it possible it's been that long???) I wanted to add Homelink. At first I was going to add the standard module that goes in the roof, they're cheap and plentiful on Ebay. But I found a vert mirror with Homelink in the mirror, had a bubble in it fixed by radar-mirror.dom, and voila, I had a fresh mirror with Homelink, in E46 spec. But those don't turn up all that often, I got lucky.

This was p'n'p in my car. I also tested it in my X3/tested my X3 mirror in the ZHP and all good. The wiring (if needed) looks incredibly straightforward.

And thanks for the free bumps, guys!

another free bump for you. this is probably one of my favorite things in my car. It adds such a nice feature set to the car especially with the auto dimming and hidden compass. auto dimming works great and the compass is sweet. this should be mandatory on our cars.

if the M3 oval mirror had homelink and hidden compass I would so get it but for now ill keep my e9x mirror.

What's the difference between a hidden compass and a non hidden one? Will this be plug and play on my coupe?

Mirror sold last night. Thanks Taylor.

The hidden compass just doesn't have the big square visible when it's not illuminated. The answers about being P'n'P varies on if your car is pre-wired or not. Changing the harness is pretty easy if your car is not. Nate (ZHPizza) told me yesterday he's likely going to sell his. Shoot him a PM.

Church. Getting it to work in a non-prewired car is all of moving one wire from the Bluetooth connector over to the mirror plug. Don't even have to cut anything.

i have a 2003 that had no auto dimming, sos, homelink mirror. just a plane jane mirror. I followed this DIY for installing the homelink e92 mirror and it worked perfectly.
