Hey guys! Really need one of you or someone in Orlando, FL to check a car, the seller is willing.

And they still cost around $150 right?

Stop making so many damn threads for unnecessary bullshit, please.

Why don't you get the seller to take it somewhere for a PPI? Can he not drive it?

I DID A SEARCH for pre-purchase inspection and the ONLY result that popped up was for just that in the General section which is exactly what I did and no one chided those people for it. The thread you posted does not show up in that search. Next time just delete my post then and PM me the link where I should do, no need for drama.

That is exactly what I am asking for, a place to get a PPI OR someone who can go there, either or, isnt that he usual process? People always suggest that the BUYER choose the PPI location for what I think are obvious reasons.

And anything you guys can see are red flags or warnings from the Carfax? He said he'll send the complete when he gets back to his office.

There are a few places I have used in Orlando for work but depends on where the guy is. Orlando is a big city. North of the city there are a few places off of semoran blvd.

Carfax looks fine. Glad you're getting a PPI as Carfax isn't 100% accurate. Good luck.

Cheers... someone said that auction thing is a bit of a red flag but I was thinking well, no matter where it came from, if its good its good right?

Also the air bag replacement, I am hoping that was a technical issue and not an accident.

Cars get bought at auctions all the time, sometimes by dealers or by those looking to flip them. It definitely isn't a red flag all on its own.

Precisely my thought, someone else's loss, my gain... which is why I wanna make sure I get a good shop for the PPI, because I'll have to trust them and the guy is willing to deliver the car for a fee, which saves me pretty much a whole day of angst... although driving it back, I could look forward to letting it loose a bit on the quiet parts... but whatever, I can do that later at the track... altho going there now with an automatic doesnt feel as great, but if this works out, at least I have a decent ride to use while I keep looking for my ideal 6MT.

Airbag replacements are probably the recalls.
