I bought this 2005 BMW 330i ZHP in 2015 and it has been a great, reliable daily driver for me ever since. I had been driving a Prius for the previous 10 years and let me tell you - the BMW is just a tad better. After test driving (just for fun) a Tesla Model S last month, I ended up getting bit by the electric car trend and have recently bought a Chevy Volt…so the ZHP must go.

The previous owner of this ZHP also took good care of it and had bought the car at the (in)famous Enthusiast Auto Group in 2010. She put most of the miles on it with about a 50 mile one way commute between Dayton and Cincinnati. She did get in an accident in 2010 and according to the Carfax “left rear primarily damaged” and “airbags did not deploy”. She had the repair work done by a reputable shop that Enthusiast Auto Group recommended.

Recent Service:
Oil Change: 147,700 with Mobil 1 0W/40 Synthetic
Right rear window regulator: 147,000
Drivers Side Takata Airbag Recall/Replacement completed at 146,400
Small windshield chip repair: ~140,000 miles less than the size of a dime and has not grown since filled.
Oil Change: 137,500 with Mobil 1 0W/40 Synthetic
Thermostat Replaced and Oil Changed: 124,417

Issues:
- Front spoiler minor scuffs, headlights foggy, consumes a little oil - no spots on driveway - so I just add a quart when needed, windshield washer fluid leaks/doesn’t work, 3 tiny rust spots noted near wheel well and trunk.

Reliable daily driver. Fun-to-drive, starts right up and idles smoothly, pulls strong and corners well. I will miss this car. Located in Cincinnati, OH.

It would be nice to have more info about the svc history (example, coolant system and suspension). GLWS.

Thanks for the comments.

I bought the car with 134k miles on it and only got a couple receipts from the previous owner.
-e.g. 124,417 thermostat replaced.

I recall the previous owner mentioning that brakes were done somewhat recently before I bought the car (and I at least see on the carfax that the brakes were flushed at 103k).

It seems to me the previous owner took decent care of the car. Could my car be better with more updates to the suspension, etc.? Probably. But I've never driven a new ZHP or one with a fully refreshed suspension. I can imagine it could be incrementally better than my car is at 148k - but in my opinion the car drives quite well for 148k.

At this point (bought a new car; not desperate to sell quickly) I'd rather try to price the car accordingly and let the next owner decide what all additional preventive maintenance they want to do...

Thanks for your comment and hope this info helps those in the market for a ZHP.
