Long term planning here and came across these parts that will inevitably need replacement. When pricing motor mounts, for example, I noticed that the original BMW motor mounts are substantially more expensive than the aftermarket. I figured some of you have also encounters this and I wound appreciate any guidance on which way to go. Is there a list of parts that are best purchased BMW original? Thanks again.

I bought lemforder engine and tranny bushings. You should be good with those, cause I think they are the OEM supplier...

OEM M3 mounts (lemfoerder) are the wisest choice for motor mounts, both from a performance and cost perspective.

I once saw a sign in a VW dealer that said "real Volkswagens like real volkswagen parts"

Sure, this can be viewed as a ploy to get robbed at the dealer but it's true and I apply it to myZHP and my 4runner. Plenty of options to get OE parts NOT at dealer prices

That makes sense...Where would you recommend that I look for better prices OE parts.
