For anyone interested, there's a set of cheap M3 seats for sale in Chicago. Black, memory, no heat, no bolsters. $150

If you have heated seats already, idk if I’d give them up living in that beautiful city called Chicago.

But adapting them into a sedan (IIRC) just involves moving the outside rail from your sedan seats over to the M3 seats (because the sedan seatbelt attaches to the rail, whereas coupes attach to a bar in the floorboard). Should be pretty straightforward.

Correct. I just did it a month ago. 2 bolts and 2 screws per seat.
