So this is gonna be a fun one for me when I finish, but it is taking time. My plan is to take an '03 330Ci auto with a blown head gasket and convert it to a ZHP drivetrain/body clone on a budget that I can drive as a second/track car.

I purchased a donor car from this site back in July and I have a list below of what has been done and my plans. I'd love to hear what suggestions others have!

Car#1 - Silver 330Ci Coupe - 180K Miles, Auto with blown headgasket courtesy of a hole in the radiator
This car had some goodies such as the M3 strut brace and M3 mirrors on it already, along with 18" M Rims pictured

I am planning to leave the 330Ci diff from the auto in the car so I have better acceleration. At some point, I plan to remove the stock diff and replace with a helical LSD when I do the sub-frame mods and replace all the mounting bushings for the diff.

The donor is an '04 ZHP from Ohio that had 180 on the clock also but only ~140K on the engine

I also ready sourced the following items:

Purchased:

Achilles Oil Pan Baffle
ZHP Instrument Cluster
M3 Engine/Tranmission Mounts
UUS SSK and Rod
ZHP Knob

M3 Pillars/Headliner
ZHP Steering Wheel
Mishimoto Coolant Hose set
Metal Impeller Water Pump
OEM Thermostat
NGK Spark Plugs
OEM OFHG

Thomson Oil Pump Nut
Rebuilt ZHP Steering Rack
Clutch/Install Kit
Replace Transmission Seals via real OEM and replace oil w/ redline

Still to Do:

Tires
UUC Brakes
UUCSway Barbarians
Shadowline Trim - Rear Windows (rest came off donor car
Blacked Out Kidneys

Later Spends:
Coilovers - BC Racing
Battery

This is not gonna be a fast project. My goal is to have the car running and driving by the end of the year, but the suspension and brake upgrades are gonna have to wait until this thing actually cranks!

Interior is almost done too, just have to figure out what I am gonna do with the front seats....they are the standard seats, not the sport versions.
