Is it possible to remove marks from the ZHP cube trim? Looks like the PO had a watch or buttons that scratched the trim. I want to make it look shop shape. 31500

VAB5 restored his Black Cube trim. His "recipe" - several light coats of satin black paint, to make sure you don't overdo it and lose the detail.

Hi Kris, I used this in several light coats. Stop before you begin to lose detail.

Awesome. Thanks guys.
@VAB5 Does it wear well once you paint it? ie do you have to clear it as well?

I did it 2 years ago (at least) on my dash trim and shifter surround. I didn't do the door handles as I'm too lazy to remove the door cards to do it properly.

On the stuff I did paint, it's proven very durable. No nicks or scratches, however they don't get anywhere near the traffic that the door handles do. I did not clear coat.
