Has anyone had to replace their brake pressure sensor? There are two on the master cylinder. I was hoping the stuck caliper was what was causing the DSC and Brake light to go yellow, but I pulled codes, and it's Pressure Sensor #1. It does not look like a fun job getting to that sensor.

I have replaced one of them. See below:

OE BMW Brake pressure sensor 1 - Mileage 138,990
Brake Fluid Flush with ATE 200 - Mileage 138,990

Only reason I did only 1 sensor was (a) they are expensive and (b) only had the code for sensor 1. Car is about to roll over to 170k and no issues.

Thanks, Vas. Do you remember if it was the sensor closer to the front? I keep hearing conflicting info on the position on sensor 1. Did you have to lift up the master cylinder to get to it? Looks like it is going to be a pain to get to.

I've done this. It turned out that the sensor I pulled out just had a bit of dirt stuck in it. That was after a complete fluid flush. If it wasn't such a pain to get to, I probably would have just put the original back in and seen if the problem (trifecta) went away. But I replaced it anyway, and it did fix the problem. There's just very little clearance to disconnect the lines to get at the sensor.

For mine, it was the #1 sensor, and I could see the actual flaky response on the scan software. (I think it was NCSExpert - you can watch the data come off the sensor live as you press the pedal, which is very handy).

I replaced my sensor, as well. It's such a pain to get to, I didn't want to risk having to do it twice.
I posted my installation on my restore thread:
