Decided to put my beloved ZHP up for sale. 2004 Imola/Alcantara 6MT that was purchased 2 years ago from a tip by fredo in San Antonio. The car currently has 177,xxx miles and will increase minimally. I purchased the car at 159k and being a BMW tech, I went through the entire car with a fine-toothed comb. My previous posts document many of the repairs and upgrades, however I will list all repairs below. This is an absolute turn-key vehicle in need of only a driver and does not reflect the mileage on the odometer based on appearance. I love driving this car, however it’s time for a new project!

2/15/2016 @161,203

2/23/2017 @166,706

BSW stage 1 full speaker upgrade
Raceland coilover install
ESM-004R 18x8.5 front/18x9.5 rear wheel set with 225/40R18 and 255/35R18 Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 tires
Alignment
Supersprint catless headers, x-pipe and round tip muffler
Active Autowerke stage II performance software with secondary air delete and post o2 delete
BMW Performance 135i brake setup with custom powder coated Brembo gold calipers, Stop-Tech stainless caliper pistons and silicon dust boots/piston seals, factory E46 M3 blank rotors, HEL Performance stainless braided lines, EBC red stuff pads
Coby wheel with factory grey alcantara, alcantara armrest cover
Illuminated and weighted ZHP shift knob
4.5 LSZ with triple turn and european faceplate/rear fog button (not active)

9/28/2017

VDO gauge cluster install with oil temp, pressure and voltmeter
Wiper cowling panel with wiper delete (windshield is double coated with CQuartz, pretty sure rain is actually afraid of the windshield…)
BMW Euro clear turn signal, side marker and tail lamp housings
OEM driver seat back upholstery replacement due to bolster wear

The SZM installed has buttons for heated seats as I intended to purchase all new seat covers and retrofit heated seats. Only the driver's seat back upholstery is new and has the heating element sewn in from the factory. I ran into other pressing issues that required disposable income so never got around to purchasing the remaining 3 upholstery sections and wiring the car. Thus, it does not have heated seats. I also kept all parts to return the wipers and washer fluid tank to factory. The only major flaws in the body are on the rear right bumper cover and the hood above the left kidney which were present when I purchased the car. I have a current Carfax if anyone is curious. The car is originally from Texas so absolutely zero rust/corrosion. I’m open to offers, I’ve been back and forth about selling for a few months and have been actively watching for sale ads on mafia to get a feel for what my car may be worth. In lieu of the stickies posted as reference to sale postings, I’m open to constructive criticism, you won’t hurt my feelings!

Update: Failed to write down in my log the date and mileage, but all 4 window regulators have been replaced as well as the engine compartment partitions and seals, headlamp lens seals and the steering shaft u-joint.

After further searching for sale prices it appears the car is not worth what I originally thought, price has been adjusted for a more accurate representation based on mileage and condition. Still have some room for negotiation and open to offers!

Update: Performance strut brace has been removed from the car, price lowered

Looks great, GLWS!

I'm curious how the full Supersprint system sounds, do you happen to have a sound clip?

It sounds vaguely like an S54 at cold start and full throttle, otherwise it sounds a little louder than factory with a small rasp to it due to the x-pipe. Let me see if I can get a video.

man i really want this car. but i am underwater (figuratively speaking) on the OG/NB and could not justify a 2nd ZHP without selling.

Imola/Alcantara is a top 3 color combo for me, and the mods are choice. and you're even close! sigh...

I promise I'm absolutely NOT trying to tempt you or make you reconsider a 2nd ZHP, but I would drive this car to you if that makes a difference. I have family in Spring.

Just wondering if the brakes were a kit, if so what kit was it? I’ve never seen those calipers on the rear of an E46.

Are you selling the brakes separately?

I purchased all 4 calipers from a salvage 135i and had them stripped and powder coated. I modified the front stay brackets to work with E46 M3 brake rotors. Replaced the rear brake dust shields with M3 dust shields and installed E46 M3 rotors. Both axles have custom length and fitting stainless braided lines and EBC red stuff brake pads. They are for sale separately if you’re interested, PM me.
