I know it sounds crazy, but my SEL seems to come on whenever we get a heavy snow. Then, after a few days of driving, it goes away. I have a scan tool, but I haven't tried to figure it out. Curious if anybody else has run into this? The car runs great at all times.

Sure enough--it went away after two days.

I had a code for the secondary air system, when it got cold. But it hasn't come back this winter.

Even though the light went out the code will be stored. You need to pull the code. Only take a minute to do. Plug it in, turn ignition on (don't start engine), and select read codes on the scan tool.

Seems like something you could put off for a few months ;)

Move to the south.

Two for one. No snow no light.

Did I mention no snow

I would love to, but my wife's afraid of snakes.
