I'm a new member. I'm going to drive my 2005 ZHP convertible solo from Seattle to Boston in a week or so. I'm glad I found this group. If I could figure out how to post photos, I'll do that.

Are you purchasing the car in Seattle and are driving it to Boston? If so, how come you've listed your location as Alaska?

Yes. I bought the car in Seattle but live in Alaska. I bought it from a dealer who I bought my other from. A 2003 330xi. He's a great guy and a BMW enthusiast.
The 330xi is on Cape Cod, MA where I left it for family usage on visits.

Good luck with the journey! Agree with johnrando on the Sport Antenna. Allows you do use that car cover in Alaska and no noticeable difference in reception for me

I will probably sell the ZHP on the east coast. I have a 330xi already that is more suitable for my Alaska requirements. I’m driving east for bi lateral knee replacement and wanted a nice summer car for the run. I’m sure I’ll rethink that after the drive.

I wish it was a 6mt but it’s an auto. I had to get one because my clutching knee is shot. I’m actually on crutches with both knees out till
After knee replacement. I’ll suffer happily through the drive though!

Wow, must be difficult to get into the car and drop down into the seat! I have good knees and still kind of free fall the last foot or so into the seat :)

I am Flying to Seattle Monday to start my road trip to Cape Cod in Massachusetts. No matter what I try, I can't get photos to post. (Tapatalk, etc).
If anyone has an easy, foolproof way to send photos from my iPhone, I'd like to share the trip with the group. Detailed instructions would be appreciated. I'm 70 years old (young) and not a computer programmer.

I’m doing a road trip from Huntsville, AL to the Maine / NH costal in about a month. Should be fun, we did a run to San Antonio a few yeas ago.
