My inner fender came loose and the ambient temperature sensor got ripped off. The temp started fluctuating pretty wildly from 122 to -40, and then the instrument cluster just went dark. The gauges, no lights, nothing. Worst of all: no AC!!!!!!!!
Yesterday, the instrument cluster turned back on by itself. I have all my gauges but no warning lights or AC. If I use my blinker, it works, but i don't get the blinking light. The open door warning doesn't work, etc. I can't lock the car using the fob until it's been off and sitting for about 2 minutes.
I ordered a new ambient temp sensor repair kit, installed it, and now I have temperature readings again, but still no AC.
Help? Did I fry my IKE?
