Hey guys,
One side of my shadowline trim is broken when I bought the car. I think I found the part online (see links below) but I was curious if anyone installed the piece before? I'm thinking I'll need to buy all the clips, remove the old clips/trim then just snap new ones in? Couldn't find much online regarding this. Thanks in advance!

You are correct.
However how much is shipping on something that size? Your local dealership might be cheaper.

There are clips attached to the back side of the trim.

It seems like that part number is for the matte black trim. ZHPs have gloss black trim.

Ah okay. Is it as simple as removing my old trim/clips and then snapping the new ones on? Local dealer has it for $240 so it’s about the same price as if I order it online and pay shipping.

Hmm I thought this was it. Let me double check and I’ll reach out to dealer on Monday to see price. Thanks!

3M heavy duty double-sided tape works in a pinch.

^liked that! The shadow trims have become ridiculously expensive.

This is a design flaw on these cars; The rubber seal pulls at the trim every time you open the door, and over time it just fails. The trim on both sides of my car have come off.
My two cents; Don't waste your money on new trim. Mine came off just like yours. (I still haven't re-installed it.) I plan to just epoxy new clips onto the back and snap it back in, then close the door and leave it for a couple of days. It'll probably come off again, so get some extra clips for the future. (Or don't open the rear doors.) ;)

Good thought. Yeah I don’t use the back door much but wanted to keep car in good shape. I’ll likely find a temporary solution first (3M double sided tape or your glue clip option). Thanks for your advice!

Butyl caulk strip works, too.
