Hey guys, I have my car apart and broke a few CCV pipes along the way of changing my starter.

Instead of replacing the CCV, I'd like to swap my valve cover to the M56 instead.

Looking for one in great shape without any clips broken on the diaphragm cover.

Please send me a price shipped to 94043 or local pickup (mountain view, CA) as well as what would be included.

I'd want the gasket, SULEV dipstick, and harness if possible.

Thanks

They're very easy to find in CA since that's where most of the SULEV cars ended up. There's a few guys on e46fanatics that sell the complete kit that you're looking for at a reasonable price.

yes, don't seem that hard to find, on Ebay or E46Fanatics, but expect to pay $250, seems to be the going rate.

Totally worth it though. My commute is 5 miles and I've been parking outside a lot this winter. I got home one night after several of those short, cold trips and opened the filler cap to see this:

So the next day I got home and let it sit outside and idle for 20 minutes:

I managed to pick one up from a pick-n-pull and it was the first E46 I came upon.

Some things were wonky about the valve cover and I suspect that it had been disassembled at some point. I'll make a thread about it.

Ill be heading to a yard or two to get one. Can pick you up one if I find another and we can work out a price
