If Ii have posted in the wrong section I apologize. I am thinking of selling my 2006 ZHP Convertible, the car is completely stock with only 51K miles. The color is titanium silver with black interior. The car has every conceivable option include NAV and a CD changer that I installed last year. I bought the car 4 years ago and barely drive it and it seems a waste to just let it sit. Recent work includes:

- 4 new Michelin tires
- Refinished all 4 rims (professionally)
- Coolant system flush and fill
- Brake fluid flush and fill - as well as replacing both break sensors
- Injectors cleaned
- Complete service inspection
- New battery
- New FSR (which is why the battery needed to be replaced)
- New floor matts
- Rear Spoiler
- Front Splitter
- //M Pedals

All above work except the pedals, spoiler and splitters were done at BMW of Fort Myers.

Aside from two paint chips (very tiny) on hood and a couple of small marks on the rear bumper the exterior is a solid 9.5. They interior is also in excellent shape, with only minimal wear on the drivers seat and a couple of dead pixels on the nav. The car has been garage kept it's entire life and shows.

You might want to mention whether it is a stick or an automatic (I could have missed it).

Price?

Duuh, :headslap, the pedals.

Been driving an automatic for one year, it's starting to itch my left leg a bit.

Probably should have mentioned it is automatic. I had toyed with the idea of adding paddle shifters. However, the wife's Lexus have them and I have only used them a couple of time - shhh don't tell her

Car looks mint. Any idea on price?

JPMo - that is what I am trying to figure out.. I have seen the prices vary on ebay and other sites and just don't know what a fair price would be. I got a good deal when I bought the car 4 years ago, but have invested 6K on the rims, tires, and getting the car serviced - it drives like a brand new car

Don't expect to get all of that back, but since eBay is an auction, set a reserve you can be happy with & the market will decide the value.

Thanks for all the feedback. Based on the mileage, condition, and what others have been selling for I would say 16.5K wouldn't be too far of a stretch. I'm still not sure I want to sell it after taking it out on Saturday for a ride

Dont sell it.. you will probably regret it.

Where did you get the pedals?

Sorry but I can't for the life remember where I bought them. Someone else on the board had them and they had the name in the post, so I ordered them. As for the price, there is a coupe with 20K more miles selling for 15.5K - and there are several on Criagslist for 14 - 16K all with over 70K miles.

Scarcity is real. Some buyers are willing to pay a premium for something clean; reducing the hassle of reconditioning a car.

The miles are in your favor and since you’re not in a hurry to sell, list it high.

Asking $16,999 isn’t bad, in my opinion.

I went through my receipts for the car and found the place:

https://www.bimmerjakes.com/en/home/232-bmw-m-automat-black-pedals-metal.html - they have them in stock for $75

If you really want to sell it keep the price at $16.5k. Don’t give away, to someone else, your invested money. If you put koni fsd shocks, not yellows, on this car it will ride significantly better than a new bmw.

When people drive my ZHP they are very impressed with the ride and have agreed on my comments. The ride quality is so great I will never buy an e46 M3 as those shocks are not available for the M3.

I have an E39 M5 with bilstein HDs. It is definitely 100% M5 but my ZHP ride is 1000% better than my M5.

I had koni's on my 1999 M3 and the car road and handled great. The only thing I didn't like was the fact they were yellow

Those are the same as the Special Active Shocks, right? I've got yellows on right now but seeing as I haven't hit a track nor do I plan on it anytime soon I'm definitely in the market to change things up.
Illinois roads are not fun on yellows!

I paid $14k for my single owner 89k mile sedan 3 years ago. I know that’s not necessarily comparable given the time frame and body style but I think yours is in better shape than mine was (I’ve reconditioned a few things to bring it up to near perfect condition). I think your $16.5k asking price or whatever it is at: 100% a great price point to be at.

Correct. Koni FSD shocks have been replaced with Koni SA.

Thanks BadClown... I have decided to sell it. Will wash it next week and take some updated photos and start posting.
