(Sold): BMW Performance Intake

The 330 version, not that 325 crap.

It's in good shape overall. There is a bit of plastic missing where someone tried to glue a screw boss that broke off the lid without taking it apart. I completely disassembled it and cleaned/glued the boss, so it's solid and fully functional now. Other than that, just a few scratches that I zoomed in on.

What are these things going for now? $500+

Yeah, it's a subtle upgrade. People showed like 5-8hp over the OE airbox (link (https://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=507315)). I wanted one for a while because it gave a small bump in power and sound, while not being as loud as the aftermarket options. I liked my car being relatively quiet back then (then I shot that shit to the wind with ebay headers lol). It definitely sounds good, though. I had another ZHP owner come up to me after an autocross run asking what exhaust I had, which was bone stock at the time. He was working a corner and heard that sweet BMWP intake music.


GruppeM would definitely be louder, but doesn't pull cold air so probably wouldn't produce the same power increase.
