When getting a PPI for a prospective purchaser of my car, the tech noted that the car should have come new with a full-size spare.
The car had 40K miles, when I bought it, so I have no way of knowing for sure, but I assumed that the ZHP came with the temporary use donut, due to the size of the wheels and the staggered set-up. (mine has the donut, obviously).

We had two prior E46s with full-size spares, but those both had 17" square set-ups.

Anyone have insight into this? Just curious, and I'd like to give the purchaser the correct information.

Thanks!

I have a 2005 sedan, it has the donut size. I believe the tech is wrong in this case. Perhaps he's thinking about square set-ups.

ZHP's came with a space-saver spare, aka the donut

Yup. My previous non-ZHP, sport package-equipped (ZSP) came with a full size (front) spare, but my ZHP has a donut.
