and sold to Travis Okulski, the editor-in-chief of Road & Track no less. Makes you wonder why he sold it after owning it less than a year, and after writing about the car in R & T :

79k and it's on the original cooling system from 2003. Ticking time bomb

Interesting article. Doesn’t sound like a BAT experience. Unless he won the bidding then asked questions later....

Well, in the 2019 BaT auction, the car was in Illinois and Travis says in the article that he bought it online unseen and flew to Chicago to pick it up. Thats a match

Good point. I just figured BAT is a unique experience compared to “I bought it online” ha

My assumption is he didn’t want to plug BaT.

Sharp, seems like all the photos were edited by taking the teal and the orange sliders up to 100 though lol

Current bid is $9,850 with 2.5 hours to go. My eyes will be glued to the screen at that time.

I enjoy reading people whine about the higher cost over a base or sport equipped car.

Ha, I'm guessing that is a joke, right? He paid BAT 5%, plus shipping, plus DMV fees, plus whatever he put into the car...

You all forgot the fuel he put in lol

Profit’s the wrong word, was purely talking about the auction price...
