Currently running a dinan muffler without rear resonator. It drones and has a lot of rasp. Would putting an x pipe or the rear resonator back in decrease this?

Rasp is a tendency for these motors. Adding the resonator will help, but you lose volume.

I'm running no resonators at all with an aFe muffler and I get no rasp. I'd say you need a different muffler.

Stock headers only muffler and rear resonator delete. Would you say put the rear resonator back in vs x pipe?

If you want it more quiet you need to put the resonator back in. An X pipe will do nothing to quiet the sound
