Does the ZHP use the same belt as the rest of the E46's? FCPeuro lists one belt for the E46. I have a ZHP engine in a 325xit (the ZHP engine was all that was available locally when I needed a new engine so why not).

Anyway the issue I ran into is that the belt I have, from the old engine, is too long. I reused the 325xit PS pump and alternator on the ZHP engine, FWIW.

Thanks for any info someone might be able to provide.

Welcome to the forum, this is the right place to ask that question.

I have only worked on a 325 (non-zhp engine). But I would think they had the same serpentine belt though. Could you have some underpulleys?
Others with more ZHP engine knowledge would know better.

I goofed, guys. I was installing it at the end of a long day. The next morning I was able to route it correctly. Thanks for your replies.

Did the same thing with the E39 last year!
