This is the same car that I found on Facebook marketplace. I think it's priced too high.

I'll take the Devil's Advocate side of the pricing argument. It has a removable hardtop. The hardtop is worth at the minimum $1500. The hardware for fitting a hardtop onto an E46 is no longer available, so kick in another $500 for the value of that now hard to get adapter hardware. Thus, the car without those aspects is being sold for $14,000. Now add on the effects of Covid on used car market valuations. Used vehicle prices overall have gone up around 10% and for some types the price increase is closer to 20%. I keep tabs on used BMW convertibles of all series and there are significantly fewer available at this time and the prices have gone up about 15% from valuations last spring. There is a lot of Pandemic-related psychological escapism happening and apparently convertibles are one form of escape for more people here in 2020. Lastly, BaT is speaking to wannabe collectors and they are seeing how 6MT, ZHP and less than 100K miles are prominent valuation factors. Having the hardtop is an additional collector gimme in their mind.

Glad I got my ZHP five years ago. It continues to be a fun journey.

Those are good points for sure. Don't you think that once it hits the magical 100K it will go down in value? Maybe my frustration with finding a good deal on one is coming out.
