That's correct - ventilation for hot climates while parked.

This replaces the sunroof glass+shade. Installation is simply replacing the sunroof glass, with no headliner or wiring work needed.

Haha. Yea, looking at realoem, it does seem like the e46 was peak random factory option for BMW.
Unfortunately it's not profitable, otherwise there'd be some good stuff out there for newer models.

Nice. I have seen this in person once at Bimmerfest. I wanted to do this, but then I went with the CF roof. Now I can only vent with the rear windows that I refuse to open lol

So does this also tilt and retract or do you lose that function when you get rid of glad? Also what do you do to prevent rain?
