Seattle ... 18 miles away from my residence ! Owner was a retired military service member who recently passed away (RIP). My goals for the vehicle include take care of the cosmetics (front and rear bumper has typical road rash rock ships and a few scrapes), paint correction, remove the aging tint film and get some fresh Michelin’s :)

Don’t have too much by way of records but has been regularly serviced and but has had air leak at air mass meter boot fixed recently and recently serviced which included oil change, brake fluid flush, filters, new front brake pads, rotors and lower front control arm bushings.

Local BMW master mechanic said no surprises like rust or leaks in the shocks, cooling system or engine. Needless to say it’s going to need preventative maintenance and I will check if the VANOS needs addressed. I’m a relative newbie but am confident will learn from the collective wisdom here.

And I'm all about the light beige interior. I had an Orient Blue on Light Beige leather ZSP before my ZHP, it is a great interior color with blue.

Thank you all. O38509 Orient, mystic, alpine and imola were the only ones I was looking for .. grew up lusting for a sedan as the proportions were just perfect but when this local one came up for grabs it’s was too good to pass. I’m sure if I ever wanted a sedan a coupe would not be hard to sell. I don’t need the rear seats so the decision was easy. Coupes have their own appeal for sure.

I think it's because Beige interiors just don't age well. When they are new or in excellent condition they are great, but once they get old they turn 10 different colors of tan and just look bad (gray does this as well to a lesser extent). I really like yours, very nice pickup.

I think it's more to do with the fact that there is simply waaaaaaay too much beige or grey in those interiors. The dash, the carpet, the pillars, ALL of the door cards... it's simply too much. They should have two-toned those interiors the way they did the Natural Brown and Cinnamon interiors.

Two tone black and grey did exist, but it was an individual option.

I actually disagree, I think the beige looks much better than gray interiors. I haven't seen an aged interior, but my last E46 coupe had a beige interior and it didn't look aged at all. It made the car feel a lot more "airy" and "alive" than my dark cavern that is my current interior.

Just drove it back from the body shop with brand new paint on the front bumper ☺️ .. the paint match is fantastic.

Too bad they didn't spray the lower grille black or replace it while the bumper was being painted. Looks great otherwise.

John, is it supposed to be black ??There are 2 parts to the grille that is in the bumper. The plastic is black but fades overtime and becomes a faded grey.

Some people paint it and others replace it since the parts are not that expensive.

Not a fan of black floor mats on a sand leather interior but I believe the beige E46 Coupe/Sedan/Wagon (Non-xi) part # 82111470422 is no longer available (NLA). Ugh !

Thank you John. I cant believe I found this local within 3 weeks of my search. I am partial to the proportions of the sedan over the coupe (even though I dont have any use for rear seats) but when this came up on my radar with such low miles without BaT pricing premium I just couldn't pass on it.

The only thing you need now is a new shift knob to match the new-looking steering wheel and new-looking seats! That shift knob looks worn compared to everything else! lol

The scary part is that shift knob is an excellent condition too, so that just goes to show how freaking NEW that interior looks...

I think the coupe lines of the E46 in M-Tech II aero package are about as good as they come, although I do pine from time to time for four doors. I prefer the #CoupeAesthetic

I am enjoying these pictures.+1 to that and Vas's comment that bumper removal is simple. Would definitely pull it and replace the lower grille parts because this thing is way too nice otherwise. Don't worry, there's no alignment bits or anything to screw up when reinstalling the bumper.
