Hi All, so I had my mtech II bumper painted recently for my 330ci coupe (02).
It seems the fender liner piece that goes next to the fog lights is not there.
The piece you can see in the lower bumper portion holes (next to the fogs) on the passenger and driver's sides.

Can you let me know which one it is...

I think it is either the 8345 / 8346 or the 4986 / 4985 combo.
The car did not come stock with the mtech II front bumper, and does have normal fender liners.
Thanks.

From what you are saying, I do think that you are taking about the brake ducts and not the fender liner? I don't know the part numbers for them though.

hmmm... https://www.fcpeuro.com/BMW-parts/330Ci/?year=2005&m=20&e=180&t=6&b=9&d=589&v=&keywords=brake%20duct

Are these the pieces that essentially close the gap on the bumper, from the front? Right now I can put my hand through and touch the ground (through the front on either side near the fogs).
On my ZHP that piece is closed off on both sides.

EDIT: After further research you are right. Now I need to figure out which one's work. This is a pre-facelift 02 330ci with an mtech II bumper.

I have read that one or the other combos will work, but no one is 100% after reading some threads.
1st combo - 51717896407 and 51717896408
2nd combo - 51717893129 and 51717893130

If bumper was removed and re-installed by body shop....shouldn't they be the one to replace the ducting?

Unless of course it was not there when you turned it in for repair. Also unless you were the one to remove and re-install the bumper. Then that is another story. Just sayin.....

Oh, it sounds like you need both the ducts and the fender ilner. The ducts would close the gap in the front, but you would still have a hole in the back of the bumper. It would solve your issue of being able to touch the ground though :rofl

edit:
according to realoem

brake ducts:
left: 51717896407
right: 51717896408

fender liner:
left: 51718268345
right: 51718268346

I'm pretty sure the fender liner for all the non-m's are the same.

Didn't have them on when I bought the car.
Paint was not good, had it stripped and repainted.

Ok, wasn't sure as I see the 29 and 30 ducts as well.
Just wanted to make sure the 07 and 08's would fit the non facelift.

Also, the fender liners are there.

ECS just said 29 and 30 up to 02 and 03+ are 07 and 08.
I guess I can always try them and return them if they do not work.

Previous owner probably had the fender liners replaced improperly and the ducting took a hike.
