Are people that cheap or just not aware?
I would have had that bumper fixed at a body shop (attached correctly) and replaced the missing fog light cover.
Would have definitely received a higher ending number then where it will land.

+1. Besides that, car looks good and it's nicely loaded (NAV, PDC, winter package).

Seller got an estimate to adjust the front bumper: $166 OTD.

Why not just do it lol?

I think it would have fetched a few grand higher at end of auction if that was all sorted.

I went up to 18k and then had to stop.

This was exactly the spec I have been looking for to replace my daily driver 325i with 387k miles on it.

I thought maybe it had just the right amount of little issues to deter other bidders, but apparently the fact that it was a single owner 60k mile car overshadowed the $18 missing fog light trim lol.

I'm still on the hunt for an auto trans ZHP in either Imola Red or Mystic Blue Metallic.

Single owner is nice but sagging headliner, front bumper sagging and in need of a refinish from curb rash, missing fog light trim, scored / grooved rotors, no clear picture of nav screen showing dead pixels or not, tires from 2013, interior plastics scratched / peeling...a lot of rejuvenation work needed for next owner...$19,500 including BaT fee seems steep for this one given a 41k mile example sold for $13,650 in January.

The maintenance records showed that everything else was pretty much original too, so I was budgeting for cooling system, brakes, suspension, bushings, and a few other things in addition to all the other stuff you listed.

Probably should have stopped bidding at 15k like I had originally intended.

any clue who bought the Imola zhp? I was really interested in buying it but couldn't compete the cheerleaders of BATs and overpaying. Private party will sell this car for no more than 8-9K. I am really frustrated not able to buy one at the right price.

The auction winner (gabe4229) appears to have registered for BAT just to bid on this car, so there are no comments in his profile history or other info on him. It is by design that users on BAT can remain anonymous if they want to, other than to the seller, so I doubt you'll hear much from him unless he posts about winning the car here or somewhere else online.

I am pretty sure he posted it in the ZHP fb group.
I agree he overpaid, but the car is worth what someone is willing to pay.
I believe he was looking for that exact combo.
I think $8-$9K is too low given the miles.
$12-$14K was probably more the fair ballpark for the condition it was in.
