F Series Seats to 06 ZHP Coupe

My E46 has F22 (2020 M240I) front seats swapped into them. All adjustments work fine and are all great.

The issue I’m having is that the heated elements do not work, nor does the memory.

Has anyone done an F series seat swap? Can someone point me in the right direction in terms of the wiring or coding for them. Fully blind to this.

I'm not familiar with this swap, so I just spent a minute looking at the diagrams.

The memory looks like its stored in the seat module, but maybe it needs to talk to another chassis module to work properly?

From my quick look, the IHKA on the F22 houses the button, the signal is sent via the K-CAN to the seat module through the FEM. Your car originally wouldn't have either of these modules so you don't have anyway to activate it like an F22 car.

Looking at the diagrams I would be concerned that even if you modified the F22 seat wiring to work with the E46 chassis wiring that the E46 might send too much juice through them an overheat it as the E46 wiring is MUCH larger than the F22.
