Wheelarch Air Duct for Brakes?

I just got the front lower wheel arch trim for the front left and right. I can see where an air duct might go, but I didn't find anything on the parts fiche:

Mine are possibly long gone, that whole front area is a mess, hence why I ordered new ones, but I don't want to go in twice just to install said ducting. Are there air ducts in there?

I don't remember air ducts when i changed my lower wheelarch liner (was missing when I bought the car).
I remember a rectangular hole. But I don't remember a duct, and I don't have a ZHP.
