Very interesting. Let's see what's the $ difference as compared to the AT auction.

Additional info from seller:

"We called up the owner who purchased it from us on here as an auto. We always wanted to swap this one, we felt it was the perfect candidate, but thought it would still do great as an auto so we figured, eh, not worth the time and financial investment to make it happen.

Well, we felt the last auction didn’t go our way and it got stolen from us so we reached out to the owner to see how it was doing. We found it was sitting in his garage mostly and he didn’t get to drive it much so we offered to buy it back at the final bid price ($9,250).

We had a 6 speed conversion with around 100k miles at our shop and figured this was our shot at redemption. We completed a transmission service and put in a new clutch and flywheel. It runs and drives and feels just like a factory ZHP 6 speed."

Sold for $14,999. In preparation for sale, the seller:

1) Bought car back for $9,250
2) Shipped from CA to FL
3) Completed 6MT conversion

Hope this was a good deal for him.

unfortunately, i'm betting it wasn't worth the effort at that sale price.
