I've been lurking the board recently and have been in the market for a good, fun, nice weather daily driver. So, pending everything goes smooth this week, I'll be the proud new owner of this.

2005 Imola Red ZHP, 81k miles, 6MT. Car has every maintenance record since new and all scheduled maintenance has been done, including the Vanos system. It does have an H&R coil over kit on it, and 135i wheels. My fall/winter plans for the car include a GTR Replica Carbon Fider Hood (painted), CSL Carbon Fiber Trunk Lid (painted), CSL Carbon Fiber front bumper, some 19" wheels (no clue on which ones yet, leaning toward ADV 1's), and a little single turbo as well. I don't want to go crazy with the car as I plan on building a street/strip car next year as well, but I do want to really enjoy driving this on nice weather days.

Very cool. Most of us know that car. Glad it stayed in the family.

Welcome to the site!

I hope you can tell me it was well taken care of! From the looks of it and driving it, it feels super solid, and I've been in tons of cars. Really liked the way this drove.

I can only vouch for it from 49,000 miles to present. The two previous owners were anal. The one before the current one used to detail the car on a regular basis. In fact, he took such good care of it that he tried to get a premium for the car for the amount of maintenance he did. hehe.

That's good to know. Pete told me the guy he bought it from was meticulous about the car, and it shows. It's got a bit of paint wear on the front, but nothing a new hood and front bumper won't fix.

Matt probably wore the paint off from detailing it so much. Haha. Seriously, it's a great car. When Matt was selling it (before Pete bought it), I was bumping his thread whenever possible. I thought it was a great car.

I like the wheels on that. I've seen this car for sale before somewhere, probably a long time ago. I remember thinking to myself, I like the wheels on that.

Pete has it for sale on our site now. Also, Matt had it for sale for some time on other forums.

Thanks, but I think I'm going to put on some 19" carbon fiber Savini's this fall. Or I may just wait until the winter and do it all when I won't be driving it. All the body work and the wheels and turbo kit.
