New member here from Oregon. It's a 2005 with black leather interior. I picked this up about 2 weeks ago and joined the boards about a week ago. Since then, I've installed Khoalty LED interior kit and license plate LED lights, Khoalty LED angel eyes, yellow Lamin-X for the fogs, and H&R Race springs. Other than that the car sits how I got it.

Some back ground on myself, I've been a proud BMW owner since about 2003. I currently own an 1988 E30 M3 and wanted to pick up a daily driver. I was looking at M3s but really didn't like any of the ones around me. This ZHP became available and I decided to jump on it. I'm perfectly happy with this car as it brings me lots of smiles. Here are 2 pics I took earlier today. Glad to be part of this forum and community.

Ask and you shall receive. I just did an auto-X 2 Sundays ago so here are a few pics I had my sister take.

As for plans for the vert.... I'm thinking minor stuff. I wanted to go Arqray lip but I'm thinking that might make me a little too low for the daily commute and would defeat the purpose wanting a clean, lowered DD, that can get in/out of places with ease. So I'm leaning towards the CF splitters but haven't made my mind up yet. I do plan on getting some clear side markers and the color-matched painted reflectors.

Very clean E30. Looks great. How many miles on it now?

On the E30? The chassis has about 180k and the motor about 55k. Sorry for the purists out there but NO it's not an S14 with that low of miles :) It's actually a S52 Schrick Cammed motor with many bolt-ons. I love it!

Sounds great. I am a purist but I appreciate the S52 swap.

Welcome fellow PDX'er! Always nice to see another local person join up, this is a great forum. Gotta say, you have great taste, very nicely done. Both cars look incredible. Be sure to check out the NW section of this forum for local events, I've posted a few on there recently. I'll be in the BMW CCA coral at the Rose Cup races @ PIR 6/18, not sure if you're a member but i'm sure both your cars would be welcome out there.

Where exactly do you live? I'm out in Beaverton...Tanasbourne area.

Thanks for the welcoming. I live in Salem. I read about those events on some of the other forums I post on as well. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do much until July when I get done with my move. Thanks again!

No worries, I always try to keep the NW page pretty updated with events if you're ever free.

Thanks man!

For sure. I'll probably through up a few meets that might not get posted on here as well. Every once in a while, especially in the summer, there are several meet/eats at the Buffalo Wild Wings at either the Cascade Station in Portland or Hillsboro one.

The BWW in Hillsboro (Tanasbourne) is right up the street from my house, literally under 5 mins away. Isn't Cascade Station out by the airport? Keep me posted, good luck finishing up the move.
