View Full Version : How does one remove water spots/oxidation from black window trim??

Does anyone know? I heard a clay bar would work, so I tried it, and it helped but the spots and oxidation are still very much there. I want the window trim to look brand new again. I hit the driver's side with the clay bar, went over it a few times and it helped a bit. Then I hit it with some standard Turtle Wax thinking that would help too, which it did a little. I mean, the drip rail and sill trim are a lot smoother than they were, haha. Open for other ideas...

Mild cutting polish. If that doesn't work, medium cutting polish.
