Hi All,

I started lurking here last week, which is about the same time I realized that my 323i with 182k might not last forever, despite the fact that she drives like an absolute champ right now.

After giving consideration to just about every car on the road that could be obtained for less than $30k, I keep coming back to the e46... It checks all the right boxes. I'm thinking I'd like to try out a coupe next. Not quite ready to buy, but a late model ZHP, 6MT, xenons, leather, service records, and <90k would be the ideal.

Seems like I should be able to find one for $15k - $17k, right?

Absolutely yes. Take your time and land the coupe of your dreams!

Welcome.

Yep. You'll be able to find a ZHP with that budget and with less than 90k miles.

I hope you find what your looking for, and I would keep the 323I as the dd.

Thanks for all the greetings.... Definitely psyched about the prospect of getting into a ZHP, but glad I don't have to pick one tomorrow. It's an interesting time to see what's for sale and talk about the market. THis seems like the place to be for that kind of thing!

Welcome to the Mafia, TM. Glad to hear you're looking at e46's and possibly a ZHP.

Any pics of your 323 to share?

I saw this one on the Boston craigslist recently, pretty much checks all your boxes. You should take it for a ride.

EDIT: oh and welcome to the Mafia.

Yup, saw that one. I emailed the dealer. I'm wary of buying any e46 without service records, especially one coming up on 100k, but I think I will check it out anyway.
