Finally got to your forum over here! :cheers Greetings from Moscow, Russia... Yeah yeah - residence of evil for Western people ;)

Pre story:
Owned silver sedan 320i e46 '02, with 48k miles, alsmost virgin condition :) When one lucky morning right after 2010 New Years celebrations walked out to the parking place to get to the job and didn't find my car anywhere. Thought it was a joke, but when I found a key cylinder in the snow it became obvois that the car iwas stolen that night.
So the Militsia (Police) were called who took pictures, found some items in the snow and wished me good luck... So I never saw my 320 again... still think it's still somewhere there .. In Russia... That's how I threw almost 20k $ out of the window :(

Strange feeling, but now I can tell in my lifestory that I GOT MY CAR STOLEN :)

Then, one day in February 2010, with no money for the new one, I was browsing Russian car selling site and saw IT :) called the guy on the phone and we agreed to meet.
Saw the car, all the stuff installed (UUC exhaust, Pss9 and the performance package itself) and caught myself with the idea - "this is the car I want!" But no money in the pockets that far... The guy wanted 23k $ for it. So my dream was like a dust, blown away by the wind....

I forgot about ZHP till April when the guy called me and said: "I urgently need money and I know you want the car, so I can hand it over to you for 19k $" and BANNG that was it!)))) I got a good annual bonus rught before that and the deal was done :)

I actually moved from Khabarovsk to Alaska. Khabarovsk was definitely colder in the winter. Summer was a lot of fun with the Amur river running right through it. I have so many great memories there.
Is that your house in the photos or is it your Dacha?

New pics to be done in August, as the car goes for paint renewal in July. Want to remove all the tiny things brought by Russian dirty roads :)

Color will be the same, same silver grey matte. Actually I was thinking about color change - white, matte blue or matte chrome.
Matte chrome touched me :) (pic attached) but I'm still stick with silver grey matte.

You approve? or better switch to matte chrome?

You might be surprized but 90% of all car thefts in Russia are backed up by Road Police. Who has the database for all the cars and allows thiefs getting the car to the "right" place, where you'll never find it :)
There were several big cases when policemen were caught driving stolen cars.
That's todays Russia ))))) Still being Mafia! But now it's all about authorities.

P.S. I was thinking bout switching to Matte Imola Red, but found it too radical :)

If you haven't painted yet and you're gonna go with a matte color I'd do the black, or as they actually call it Frozen Black. Hell, there were only 20 built with this paint color... you could have #21
