And look at this bullshit...

http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj144/flynnk31/CIMG0011.jpg

Some doucher stole not even the entire roundel, just the plastic part in the middle that is glued onto the part that fits into the wheel......wow. And they only took them from one side (both right side wheels). I bet it was that guy that drives the Cadillac CTS that always parks next to me...must have gotten jealous that my car is far superior to his!

Anyways, does anyone know where I can buy the carbon-fiber wheel roundels? I checked on Khoalty but they only have the hood/trunk roundels. Any ideas?

EDIT: And sorry to all of you for the dirtyness of my car!! Rain up here apparently is made of mud!!!

Damn. It never ceases to amaze me.

The fact that people hate us/our cars because they are far superior? :D

Sucks, man.

I'd email Khoalty and see if they will be getting the wheel cap roundels back in stock any time soon.

Here are some carbon fiber ones I found on eBay:

Depends on the size you need, I guess.

Damn buddy. I cannot believe the lows people go to just to be mean. I really hate it. Best wishes getting those replaced and hopefully not stolen again.

That is pretty beat up. Lame ass haters. The only thing they can do to make themselves feel better about you having a nice car is steal something from it.

Funny thing. A friend of mine looked at my exact ZHP about a week before I bought it. He bought a Cadillac CTS when I started looking at the ZHP.

All he does is bitch about how cheaply the interior is built with all the rattles and creaks... Then he sees my ZHP and always comments on how awesome it is and that he "loves" it. He could have bought it first... And, I know he's seen some other ones that he likes too... Except he just dropped 27 on a CTS. I don't know how one gets out from under that without taking a loss...Doh.

Odd both are gone from one side, but glue does fail. I got home and noticed my hood roundel was missing. Just the glued down part... and was def. there before a 30 min. drive home.

Hrm....i never thought about the idea that the sun got too hot on the one side while I was at work. It was really hot out and I guess that's a very legitimate possibility.

When it happens at work, that's just the worst. Assuming this is a company parking lot, you actually work with these people. Where's the respect?

I walked out to mine in the company garage on Monday to find someone had splashed (or spit) soda or coffee on my door. I mean, really?!? I've parked in the same garage (mostly in the same parking spot) for the past 13 years and have never had something like that happen to one of my vehicles. One hopes it was an accident, but it was obviously just left there, with no attempt to wipe away.

To be fair, if I'd dropped a drink and somehow splashed soda on somebody's car, the LAST thing I'd try to do is wipe it up - especially if it was a nice car. My old man taught me when I was old enough to walk, you DO NOT touch anybody else's car - for any reason. I've always lived by that, and I'm beating the same thing into my kids' heads.

Besides, without water and unless the car was spotlessly clean, I wouldn't want to try to wipe it off even if it were my own car for fear of scratching the paint.

Most I'd probably do in your soda scenarios, is if it was a nice car that somebody obviously cared about, I might leave a quick note about how sorry I was.

I got you beat, when I had my e36 I had one of my kidneys stolen right in front of me. I couldn't do anything about it though because it was the wind, ripped it right off as I was driving. Looked in the rear view to see it explode behind me.

Sucks though what happened, people are shameless.
