What do you guys think of this? I have been going back and forth on this idea for a while, I think I may actually go through with it.
How about some input? Maybe post some pictures if you guys have seen any e46 sedans with m3 front bumper with the acs lip?

Thanks,

Chris

I like the M-Tech 2 on the zhp, I feel like replacing the bumper is a crime. But, do want you want. ;)

I'd put an M-Tech II or an M-Tech I on my car before an M3 bumper. To me, the M3 bumper is way too soft and not "cool" looking enough.

Yea, for some reason I do not like the M3 front bumper on a ZHP at all. I can't explain it other than to say that I think the flaring and the overall rounded, hulking presence of the M makes that front bumper work. The ZHP has a different overall characteristic and the more rounded M bumper just never looks right to me on any E46 other than the M. Your car, so your call. Just $.02

MTII > M3

I was just thinking that because the mtech doesn't have many cf lips I like, but unforutently I need to get a new bumper soon because some woman hit the front of my car today with her little Suzuki suv....

IMO, the stock zhp front bumper is one of my favorite features. Don't think I'd ever swap it.

I've always wanted to do the Arqray lip molded onto the MTII like my buddy Alec's car that many of you probably know.

Car looks to be a different color in that shot.

Here's one I took of Alec's car last fall that also shows the molded Arqray lip very well.

Yeah...that looks pretty good...but not a typical diy job....and I am sure it's pretty costly....

One of my favorite features of the MT2 bumper is that on the bottom on the left and right, the edges go towards the middle and curve up, producing sort of like a gap in the middle. This to me makes it look more agressive and makes it look better when you add splitters to it. The bumper on this green car makes it all completely straight, therefore softening the look.

It all comes down to this: do you want your car to look agressive or soft?

I choose agressive, which is why Clubsport splitters will soon be here. They will make the gap much more pronounced and obvious, further heightening agressiveness.

I grin way too big every time I look at the front of my car to ever even toy with the idea of swapping it for anything else. Everything else would feel ...less.

Yeah, I really like the M-Tech I was just trying to figure out something considering some careless driver decided to smash the front of my car today

Damn...sorry to hear bro. Not being insensitive....but pics of the damage are a must. This is only so we all can weep...ever so softly.
