Alittle more, but not much. I bought this car with a poorly painted front bumper. Apparently the dealership I bought it from thought if was a good idea to cover a bunch of rock chips with paint. Too bad it wasn't the right color. I've had that corrected, and while the bodyshop was at it, I had them remove the front corner markers for a cleaner look. Since I've bought this car, besides the front bumper repaint, I've replaced all brake pads and rotors, had the windows re-tinted so they all match, changed the oil, replaced the donut spare tire with a full size ZHP wheel, (donut for sale by the way). I've also fixed the spinning door lock cylinder, and fixed a broken piece of interior trim. Next up, I have already on the way a set of Umnitza xenon and angle eye headlights with the FX retrofit projectors. I'm also considering exhausts, but not sure which route I want to go just yet. I'm also looking for a set of winter tires, and then some 19s for next summer. I have a few other interior fixes to do, but its more cleaning and detailing than anything. Looking forward to showing off my new headlights in a week or two. Anyway, here is a before and after front bumper repaint. I call it "From Bummer to Bumper."

Very clean. Interesting to see how off the white was, hard to believe someone thought that was ok to leave the shop. The new paint looks great, and the side markers gone are a nice touch. Keep up the good work!

I really like how much cleaner it is without the bumper reflectors.

Welcome to the Family.

I had a similar crappy dealer bumper paint job. They matched the color but neglected to clear coat it.

Had to get it resprayed the right way.

Droid X. Tapatalk. Use it.

Very smooth, Wes. The bumper looks so nice without the markers. Super clean.

Thanks all for the kind words. And the Chuck Norris approval. I heard that most men pee their names in the snow. Chuck Norris pees his name in CONCRETE!!! Anyway, it will turn over 70,000 miles this week. It was definitely higher mileage than I would have liked, but trying to find a ZHP with a few prerequisites is incredibly difficult, let alone finding a low mileage one. Its manual also, that was definitely one of the prerequisites.

Very clean looking! Curious how they filled the holes from the front reflectors, bondo?

They take the reflectors out, put some sort of weather proof rubbery tape inside the bumper covering the hole, and fill it from the front with body filler.

Looking good. All you need to do is replace those faded side markers and you're set!

You need some black BMW performance grills.
