This is on behalf of a member from the e46fantatics site, who expressed interest in selling his car only if someone is ok with a $19.5k price. Hence the strange reference in the title. :)

His ride in his words:

"2005 AW 330Ci ZHP, 53k 6Spd, alcantara interior, never tracked or raced, pretty much stock except h&r coilovers never abused, title in hand... "

His feedback on my general screening queries:

"This a coupe, I am the second owner, purchased in may 2006 with only 13k on the clock so I have driven it 90% of it's life time.. I car has been maintain very well and have receipts to show... Last 2 oil changes are D.I.Y since BMW no longer pays for them.. Last oil change was about 1.5k miles ago along with replacing the front control arm bushings and rear brakes and those were done by a friend who owns his own shop... But all maintenance is up to date except inspection 2 since I don't need it for another 7k miles.. As far as options it has factory navigation (updated in 2009) cold weather package, performance package, and premium package.. The exterior is alpine white with a black alcantara (suede and perforated cloth) which is super clean!!

Car color combo looks fantastic and the car looks great IMO; maintained well, and with low miles. Wish it was a sedan!!!

His email: fern2899@gmail.com.

Since he has not advertised his car anywhere, feel free to mention to him that you got his particulars from me - BimmerRules (thats the same ID I use in other bmw forums).

My type of color...asking price (firm) too high. Too far. Pass.

$18k is the highest I would go. He might get his asking price though being up in the NE

I think the price is close to being inline with what I would expect.

It will likely sell for $18,500-$19,500. I think most people would be very interested at anywhere below $19,000. AW is fairly rare. It has premium and cold weather package. 6 speed manual. Navigation. And it's an east coast car. It has 53K miles. I bought my ZHP last year with 56K miles on it. $18,950.

On the negative side, I am not NOT a fan of white style 135 wheels. I would have to replace those. Therefore, I would knock $1000 off the price. I think $18,000 to $18,500 works.

OK....I think the car is rare enough to where the price may stick...to the right buyer. You are correct Boss.

Yes. It's close to where it should be. But the white wheels will turn some off. I don't think it has as much curb appeal with those wheels. Even with them, though, the price is not ridiculous.

I looked hard at this car. My two draw backs were, I think it has been a "smokers car" and the wheels. No offence to smokers, but I quit 11 years ago. And he is firm on price.

The white wheels make it look like a Honda. And the cigarette lighter is a bit of a red flag. Anyone for third-hand smoke?

just a brief note on the seller's quote, if he got at 13k miles and it's now at 53k miles, that means he drove it 40k miles, or just under 80% of its lifetime. just sayin
