Hi everyone have had this setup and have told people about it
But i never officially introduced my small setup

it is this model

10 inch sub
with a 200 watt built in amp

hopefully this will spark some ideas for some people who want quality sound, but still want to know that the bass is there lol

Now in my honest opinion this is the best compliment subwoofer to the stock sound system (non HK, idk about the HK, but i hear it is still missing some of the lows), this filled in the blank that the stock sounds lacks

Idk how this really sounds because, my macbook has no subs, so you may want to listen to this on non-laptop speakers if possible

I love the sound and control
but i would suggest buying new lol
I bought a use one and it has crapped out on me (i i believe if it was new it wouldn't have been the case)

I would still recommend this, also read customer reviews on amazon links to get more veiws it has 4.5/5 stars

Not bad, I think its the car I don't like. The thumping feels delayed because its not that powerful. It fills in the low end though, just doesn't hit like I had hoped but thats cuz my subs in my jeep were right in the open cabin so that makes a big difference.

for the money though i think i made the right choice, wish it was a bit louder though.

You can turn up the bass boost on the sub itself and you can also make it even stronger by turning up
The bass on the radio itself that should help, if you haven't alway done them

I thought about this, but I read reviews for a long time and it was either a love or hate thing.

I've heard of tons of them just crapping out randomly.. and some just after installation. I think that when I get the chance, I'm just going to get a custom install with a sub + amp of my choice.

I checked it out with a multimeter and the sub is getting its voltage, it's just not doing anything with it. Like the power light doesn't even go on... :/

Turns out I installed it wrong. Guess you don't use the remote wire if you're using speaker-level inputs. Who woulda thunk it? :dunno

Well, it's working now! Just have to get it properly mounted and tuned just right and I'll be ready to go. Any pics of yours Seth? Not really sure where it should go...

I'll can go snap a photo if needed. I needed space saving design so mine is in the drivers side closest to the cabin corner. speakers facing east/west, not north south towards the cabin.

Pics would be great. I got the "II", so I might have to do it a bit differently. I'm thinking of getting self-tapping metal screws and bolting the thing to the back seat. (mine don't fold)

So far so good with sound. I'm still trying to get it tuned up right though... I'm having difficulty getting it to be enough at lower volumes and not too much when I turn it up. (I don't like it to be overpowering)

Cargo area would be the only real place to put it. I think the reason people like this is because you can just take them right out if you ever need the space.

I agree with Dalton. However you want to bounce the sound off the rear window glass for the best effect so make sure the speaker is aimed right at it somehow.
